With over 12 years of experience, Rudy Bou Chebel is an award-winning photographer who has shot, produced and directed major works with a focus on cinematography, travel, and the advertising industries. His works spans across continent, from India to Paris to China, from New York to Dubai, where he has produced captivating imagery and covers for household names in the fashion and design industries. He has also collaborated with international labels Advertising agencies and production houses. Most recently he was the set photographer for the Oscar Nominated film The Insult directed by Ziad Doueri and has worked as the set photographer for the acclaimed film by Nadine Labaki “Et Maintenant, On va où,” winner of the Toronto Film Festival and the Cannes Festival Special Selection. He has also been working on various Netflix Projects and other award-winning shows and series in the region. He walked with the refugees from Turkey to Germany detailing their plight in the moving Refugee Walk documentary that he shot and directed.
In December 2004 and after the tsunami hit Southeast Asia, Rudy traveled, as a student, to Sri Lanka to shoot and document the disaster-stricken areas off the coast of Gaul on assignment from the University of Saint Joseph, his work was later exhibited in Beirut and sold out. His collaboration with French author Alain Tasso, to illustrate his book “De Neige et de Pierre” sold throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Rudy holds a degree in Audio Visual Studies from the University Of Saint Joseph (IESAV) Beirut.
